I didn’t grow up eating or even knowing what furikake was, but my friend gave me a packet of this stuff a couple years ago and now I’m hooked. Every time I’m making rice or salmon or even eggs for breakfast, I reach for furikake.
I have been looking for legit Japanese furikake for a while and the ones at the Asian market just don’t taste the same. I got the flavor I was looking for at a great price!
I grew up eating this furikake and still eat it all the time. Thanks to my ojichan we never were low on Noritama! This stuff got me thru many nights where I would eat rice and furikake for dinner.
